Scavenger Hunt Sunday-- 12/05/10

Time for Scavenger Hunt Sunday!

In My Home...
This is just a silly picture, and taken from my archives.  I love this one of my daughter's room, because she had just cleaned it and I wanted to take a picture so she'd remember how I wanted it to look all the time.  Just as I'm about to start snapping the photo, she jumps in and says "wait, I want me and Dolly in the picture, too!" and she moved around as I took each shot.  I used the panorama view and stitched it all together... and she, of course, looks like a triplet!  I thought it was so funny and cute!
It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like...
Whoah... winter??!  Here in North Carolina, it was in the mid-to-upper sixties in the afternoons this past week, and this rose was nice and comfortable.  Yesterday afternoon we had more than an inch of snow (some folks would call it a blizzard), and I'm not sure how long this rose is going to make it.

Okay, we really don't get much snow out here... I couldn't stop at just one "snow photo"

Sweet Treat
Living in the hometown of Krispy Kreme, I'm not sure how my two-year-old made it her whole life without ever eating one of their famous glazed doughnuts.  Here, she's taking her first bite at the local Holiday Tree Lighting event.

Time

This clock was a Christmas gift to my Honey many years ago, and it was one of those "perfect" gifts that you can't wait to give.  I knew this one was just right because it's got that puzzle element to it, and so many people just stare at it and say, "But, how do you tell time on it?"  It's not hard... can you tell what time the clock is showing?  (The answer will be at the end)
Everyday
Everyday starts with a cup of coffee.  I included my sugar bowl, because I love it so... it's made of green carnival glass, and I bought it because it reminds me so much of the candy jar my Grandmother always kept butterscotch discs in.  What do you have in your house that brings back a special memory from your Grandparent's house?

Answer:  The clock above is showing a few minutes before two o'clock.  But of course, you knew that!
