Photo Hunt Challenge- November 2010

Home Sweet Home
Having moved to Winston-Salem from New York when I was a kid, it took me a looong time consider it "home". This skyline has evolved a lot in the last twenty-eight years, but it now gives me that "I'm Home" feeling when it comes into view.

Thankful
I'm thankful for my family.  I'm thankful that my girls love each other and can fall asleep in the same bed head to feet without kicking each other.

Family
My family is ready for the "Big Visit"!

I Ate This

Seriously, y'all.  This is what I look forward to all day.  A piece of White Christmas Pie (an old family recipe) and a piece of Cherry Pie.  They must be on the same plate, they must be touching.  Yum, yum yum yum yum.
A Turkey
In the top left, we've got the tofurkey, below that is the sweet potato casserole, then the broccoli casserole.  And, it looks like the turkey is just about ready to come out of the oven!

Something Handmade
Since I make handmade jewelry, this seemed like an easy task.  However, I like my daughter's HANDmade turkey better!

Something Hot

Something Cold
Brrrr..... I scraped the word COLD into the frost on my windshield!
Something Orange

Anything Goes
Be sure to get out and spend some time playing in the leaves with your children.  If you don't have children, or your own children are too young or too old, borrow some.  To play in the colorful, crackling, crunchy leaves with children is such a joy!
