Who invented hugs?

Who invented hugs?  Imean the first hug would have been sooo awkward.  "What are your doing, why are you holding me??"

    LOL - what a fun question! I've long wondered the same thing about kisses - now that had to be a bit of a shock for the first human who got a kiss planted on their lips! :-)
