A Fresh Bouquet from our "Garden"

The birds are chirping, 

the girls are next door planting watermelon with the neighbors, 

and I'm inside clearing the cobwebs, 

both literally and figuratively.

What better way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon with a 50/50 chance of rain in the forecast? 

This day last year, my girls and I were beginning our search for a house.  This is them in front of the first house we looked at.  A year has brought us far from there, I wonder what this year brings?

My girls today, playing in our new backyard.  The days go long, the years go short.
