Treasury Tuesday!

Every Tuesday, I publish the treasuries that feature one of my handmade items.  It is always such an honor to have one of my items chosen out of (literally) hundreds of thousands available on Etsy.   Browse through, do some shopping, mark a favorite or two.  Also, be sure to visit the curator's shop!

P.S.  The last treasury was curated by me!  ♥

One Man's Trash... And I Love Wire!

I scored big today!  A box of jewelry and findings was found in an auctioned storage unit, and I got to take it home!  I wasn't quite sure what I had 'til I got home... and I'm excited to upcycle and start incorporating it into my wire pendants.  I'm challenging myself to use every piece with creativity!

Love this little finding on the bottom left!
I'm going to use the big silver disk with the apple bottoms somehow.  I'm told apple bottoms is a brand of jeans.  Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Cute, cute, cute.  It's going to take me a while to get through all of this.
Apple Bottoms again.  Isn't it wonderful?
Can you believe all of this way going to go into the trash?
Can you see what's engraved on the heart drop?
"Barbie"  ♥  I can't wait to see how I can incorporate this into steel wire.
Ten pairs of cute little bunny earrings.  Also in the box.  Hmmm.... what can I do with these?
Handpainted by somebody.
I love that the big beads have a big opening!  I 'm gonna wire wrap these suckers into something totally awesome.
Not sure what to do with these, either.  I thought the hole would be bid enough to re-string, but now I don't think it will be.  Pretty ivory with lots of iridescence.

These are my two latest "favorites"!  I've curled the steel into fluid hoops, and the bead(s) will slide from top to bottom!

I have fallen totally and completely in love with wire.  You've seen a few of my name pendants... here's something else I've been working on.

Treasury Tuesday!

I missed a week of Treasury Tuesday.  It's been a hectic couple of weeks as we adjust to my new job.  I'm thrilled that in that two weeks, I've been featured in twenty-five treasuries!  That is amazing, and I am so honored.

The last five treasuries feature photographs from my new shop, soulenergyphoto.  I'm still selling photographs out of soulenergy, but I wanted to have separate showcases for my jewelry and prints.

So kick up your feet and relax.  Take some time and enjoy the amazing handmade and vintage items featured in these treasuries.  And take some time to explore the shops of the curators.

I L♥VE all the bright Spring Time colors!  So bright and cheerful... it's right around the corner!  Enjoy!

project 365: Week 9, February 26-March 4

Really, just an all out great week!  How was yours?

Day 58: February 26
So, um,yeah.  I might be going a little overboard.

Day 59: February 27
But everyone seems to be enjoying it.  And I really hoped it would curb Sammy's need to jump on the kitchen counter. Ha.

Day 60: February 28
First day at the new job, and guess who was there to greet me?

Day 61: March 1
Part of my new daily routine.

Day 62: March 2
This is a page from the book Self Leadership and the One Minute Manager.  I just finished reading the book, and found it pretty powerful.  One of the tools in learning how to overcome "elephant thinking" is to figure out a way to cut your business card into a paper ring so that it will go over your head.  This really can be done-- I did it myself!  And I would recommend reading the book!

Day 63: March 3
Just another awesome sunset.  I'm a little bit addicted... I participate in SkyWatch Friday every week!

Day 64: March 4
Looks like I'm going to start the week and end the week on these two adorable kittens we adopted less than two weeks ago.  I swear when I walked up on them (and they are fast asleep!)  Sammy had his arm around his sister Molly. Looks like Sammy and Molly are going to become a part of the blogging world!  (hello, Kitty Paw!)
And I am seeing trees blossoming... and I saw daffodils today!  Yay!

Y'all have a great week!

Skywatch Friday

If I can put one touch of rosy sunset into the life of any man or woman, I shall feel that I have worked with God.
Gilbert K. Chesterton

Not quite a rosy sunset, but beautiful nonetheless. (SOOC)
